For monitoring sap systems on virtualized environment under Microsoft Windows, some adjustments of your tools and SAP transactions are necessary. Initial Work steps for all virtualization solutions:

A- Install the Microsoft runtime environment.

B- Check the Support Package level, For SAP NetWeaver 7.0/transaction OS07N you need SAPKB70017

C- Check the kernel patch, For Release 7.00 you need Patch level 178

D-Check the version of the operating system collector SAPOSCOL For VMware vSphere you need COLL 20.95 710 - 21.03 NT patch 154

E- Check the version of the agent SAPCCMSR Patch Collection 2008/4 (or higher)
